2 keywords 1 url good idea or not?

Every time I read new thread I am getting more confused. I need some advice from real SEO experts I am planning to focus on 2 keywords and 1 url only for next 6-8 months. Is this good idea? Should I focus on 2 url and 4-5 keywords? If I focus on 2 keywords 1 url will I get in trouble with Google uncle?

I am planning to focus on 2 keywords and 1 url only
That should be no problem at all, however you can focus on a lot more that 2 keywords.
It depends on how you focus if you'll get in trouble or not?

I might be able to do it 3 keywords but I am not sure if I can manage it or not myself. My plan is so far per keyword is

    15 PR 3+ blog comments
1 web 2.0 articles (300-500 words unique article, one link to keyword, 2 links to authority site, each article powered by 10 PR 3+ blog comments, have maybe 10 articles per blog so page rank juice will flow between articles)
    10 niche related blog comments
    50 Angela styled links

What do you think? Is it good idea?

There is no problem in targeting two or more keywords for same URL, until and unless the targeted keywords are related to your industry, and from the place users are landing gets something worth they are looking for.

Dear seo is all about getting backlinks to the webpage you want to rank for. Hence it's easier to optimize for one url and 2 keywords instead of 2 urls.

Your goal is to get backlinks to that one url! You should also not always use those two keywords in anchor text (try to change them, use the URL itself sometimes, or other keywords, or just click here, etc).

    Good Luck

I think you must have to follow the strategy of 2 url and 4-5 keywords( it may be long phrases).

I've found that adding too many keywords in a URL that make it seem unnatural causes more problems than having a normal contextual link.

Definitely...why not. You can use one Url/Page for different keywords. But be aware..do not span..while optimizing the page for more than one keywords.

As per my knowledge is concern, Search Engines are ignoring the second one. So I am using some different Url (i.e. the "about us" url) for the second URL.
