I know the article was discussing a less than ideal situation, but I feel the writer should have differentiated more between "can" and "should" in the following comments.

Alt and Title attribute:

Comment tags:

The top site for one of my main keywords is #1 on all the major SE's and uses this form of meta tags

Well according to G, you can use the <noframes> tag to add text, even if the page isn't in frames!

Using a no frames tag on a site not built in frames is total bull **** resulting in a spam ban so there!:grin:

That's the received wisdom Mal, but were you not also surprised by the answer from G?

the alt attribute can be used with the image tag and title attribute with the anchor tag.
This is proper Wc3 specs.
