Nice introduction to Spock.
Besides researching peoples, potential hires and, well, snooping around. Spock can be used to research authors and subject matter experts, get a background on political candidates, filmographies of movie stars, statistics of professional athletes. This list goes on. It also might create a new business: celebrities may hire agencies to claim and manage their public image on the web.
However, It’s probably too early to tell if the site will be a success and, if it is, how many people will be cataloged by it.
