Article submissions - The definitive list ala seochat
Ok,

I am currently working on article submissions so i figured the best way to go with this was to get together a set of favourite article sites. I know Sgroup was asking about this on another thread i posted to do with the most effective linking techniques.

Anyway i have got together a list of places whom will accept articles. Some are only based in uk finance so they maynot be any use for some but many are general sites.

I hope this helps people who are looking to roll out this particular technique.

Please add to this resource if you use this technique having a good master list will allow us all to benefit as well as "hopefully" removing the need for a content distribution house to be involved.

NOTE - I haven't tried these yet but once i have a master list i will be submitting to them all and i will release my findings i a more complete manner after the first submission run.

Gabs have you used them ?

Just had a quick look at the site and i wasn't sure if you were allowed to include a live link or if you had to buy a certain "quality" of distribution for that ( i.e not the entry level distrib)

Any idea on this,

Was wondering if perhaps one of you guys could write a brief 'Do's and Dont's' regarding writing articles for submission.

Do you write just a basic over view of your site/services? How best to structure links in the article, etc etc etc

Live links are OK in PRWeb but you have to pay $200 or more to have anchor text.

The few I have done with them i've got anchor in them...

The old english charm helps...

If you pay say $200 plus some phones you and edits the article over the phone...

Paid $201.00 once as a test and had cos over $200 you get the metrics with the stats...

Some stats for you..

90,534 artcle reads... Estimated Pickup 1,348 Prints 323 PDF Downloads 27

Traffic didn't go up much (extra 800 or so) but then you never know what Press articles came of it...
