Article Discussion: Team SEO Strategy

SEO professionals that run their site’s “SEO race” alone have a hard time. Too hard, in fact. A SEO pro should be looking for creative ways of teaming up with appropriate SEO colleagues in order to obtain higher search engine rankings faster and with less sweat. This article, if you would like, is a call to SEO’s to start working with each other rather than continue thinking they’re against each other!

Really nice read, I think a lot of people will find it as useful as I did. I've never really worked with others on projects before, but this article has got me moving in that diection to test the waters.

My best friend from college teamed up with me and it has made things so much easier. We help each other out with links and contacts - I honestly can't imagine going at this all alone

Teams can be quite helpful in SEO. It does take some strategizing, but when done correctly, I agree, cn be very helpful.

Common goals and expectations are a must though.

I did not like the article. To be honest it was a very boring read, but I do love the team strategy idea.

Several SEO persons working togheter for a common goal is very nice. Seo competitions like the current SEO-challenge is a big test for the team strategy approach.

Isn't that what we are all doing here in the first place. I am sure there are plenty of folks here who help each other out. I have even heard of some Nigritude Ultramarine team or something....hmm, now where was that?

In a sense you're right, but the best thing about an SEO team for me is working up content. That's the hardest part. Anyone want to give me some free copy?

yes...i agree.
i am used to working alone.
but i have really enjoyed the nigritude ultramarine competition mainly because it has been a team effort and i have gotten tremendous support from people like sorvoja [and many others] in the areas of linkage and content creation and strategy ideas.
