Question Very high bounce rate for my website - where is the problem ?

Hello. I've just launched a new website from about 3 weeks. In this moment I have a lot of visits on it, but the bounce rate is very high - about 80-85%.

Could you tell me where is the problem, please ? The website is www.reviewguy.net Thank you !

It depends where these visits are coming from and if the people are finding what they are looking for. Usually the answer is in your analytics account. See what are the source of traffic and the SE keywords if any. Are they relevant to your content? If not, you need to work either on new traffic sources or to adapt your content.

If the sources and keyword are relevant, but the traffic still bounces, it usually means your content is low quality.

Sorry but I must say that it is a very rubbish idea.

nichita2008, your site is on review. But I couldn't find out any reason at all to stay in the site more than 10 sec. Just take a look at some the top review sites and try to figure out how they are working.

I have about 500 visitors / day until now, but the bounce rate is high. The most of traffic it comes from the search engines (about 85%).
new_seo - what do you want to tell ? The website looks bad ? It's the second theme I use it for the site, but the bounce rate remain the same.

    Content content content.
Bounce rate is all about the content.

Once the user lands on your pages, the seo effort for this visitor is done. What comes next depends on what you have to offer that visitor. Your content and pages need to be appealing and useful to the user.

Identify what it is that your visitors want, and give it to them. That's it.

OK guys. Thank you for response. I've changes the ads dimensions and positioning in page and the bounce rate seems to decrease. I will come back with the solution for this problem. I suppose the old adsense positioning in page was the problem but i'm not certain yet.
