Although I felt your pages were quite cramped - the material you are using and the image software looks good to me.
My approach initially, would be to ask you to address the seo basics first. The design of the website is a bit common and thus create no impact to first time visitors. Also, the site also do not create a sense that you have a lot of images, create more categories on the side and show how many pictures you have.
