YSM Negative keywords?

Does yahoo offer anything in the way of negative keywords?

With my ad campaigns on adwords i have everything finely broken down separated by year and sports with the help of negative keywords ( i sell boxes of sports cards).

Does yahoo have negative keywords?

They do indeed. When you create a new add group it asks you to add your keywords in a big box. Below the box is a little tiny link that says "Add excluded words" or something like that. Click on that and you can add negative keywords. To add to an existing group is even trickier. Click on the ad group settings, click edit under tactic settings, then click show under excluded keywords, ad your keyword and hit save. Not the most intuitive way of doing this, but it works.

In case you ever use MSN adcenter, they have a really nice way of adding negative keywords - you add for each keyword rather than the entire ad group. Not usually needed, but I could see that possibility with sports cards. You can of course bulk edit and apply to all as well.

Hope that helps

Hmm. The only thing I can think of is that there are two options you're given when creating your campaigns - either standard or advanced. If I remember correctly you can only add negative keywords if your match type is set to advanced. So if it's not try changing and see if that works.

If you still can't find it, post back or pm me and i'll see if I can figure it out.
