This program has been around for years, and is almost the same as Google sitemaps but this one is more costly and more controlled.

What this allows is your site to be index and refreshed guaranteed by Yahoo, you will also get a higher weight given to your content on your website.

If you are like some of our clients and spend enough you can even write you own ad copy for your "natural" results, so its just like the PPC system and it is also PPC but its results show up in the natural results.

This system does help any site that uses it, but it costs you money for each visitor that comes to your site from the url/address you submitted, the cost is 15 or 30 cents dependant on the industry your in, which isn't that costly when you are dealing in most ecommerce items.

Steven,

You said, "you will also get a higher weight given to your content on your website."

Does this only apply to the page(s) that you submit, or to your whole website?

Beware of using Search submit express..... Unless you are prepared to pay for it long term, it does not pay to get started with it....

My site used to perform very well in Yahoo search engine. About a year ago I decided I wanted to try out the service thinking that it may improve my performance. I was willing to pay only for my homepage to rank. Shortly after, my homepage was the only page that would show up in the Yahoo search engine. Now remeber, the hoepage was the only url I was willing to pay to appear. After months and months of just being pissed off at them I decided that no longer would I pay for the clicks, but I wanted my url out of the account completely. I called them and told them when I log in to this account I do not want to even see my url in there, wehter the account is funded or not.. I told them I wanted nothing to do with this site submit express....

After I removed the URL completely from the search submit express account, my home page performs worse than ever before... Now taking into concideration that I am a pretty knowledgabel guy when it comes to this stuff... Take my word for it.. It's not a good idea.

If yahoo used search submit express to include your url into the algorithmic results, it must make changes to the way your url and site appears and performs... Take that service away and it just seems that they want to punish you for leaving....

I am again running back to them with my credit card as I am at aloss for answers....
