Yahoo PPC Ads point to Google!

So check this out you do a search on yahoo for "web design " and you get your usual ads....but wait! when I clicked on them they all had Google URL's!!!! here is one URL example the URL is really http://www.google.com/aclk?sa=l&ai=BdSdHeaD-R4GzApnmpATsicW0B-apzSiq4tXABPn3hSqA5YICCAAQAhgCIKeo7A4oAzgBUMWltZUH YMmGgIC0JKAB0v7M-APIAQGAAgHZAwCcfBBxgEl_4AMI&sig=AGiWqtyO7umpOIFjGt8dA9oJDeYx9i2ljg&q=http://www.firethread.com/landing/nj

I read an article in DM News that they are "talking" about merging their ad technology to a 3rd party, but this has to be an error...I was using a proxy server and when i shut it off and refreshed the Yahoo ads were working, but i wonder if i stumbled on a test????

It's gone, but yahoo has said that they'll be testing having google ads in their sites for two weeks. More delay strategies to get microsoft to think that there's a 'possibility' of merging. So I think you stumble on one of the test.

Late last week I removed all of my Yahoo Search Marketing ads because i submitted them my adwords download and wanted them to upload it for me...

Every day iv been getting 1 click coming from Yahoo Searh Marketing... i thought well maybe i didnt delete all of them so i logged into yahoo to check and there are no ads or campaigns...

If they are showing google adds on their search pages this would explain why im still getting some traffic from these sites.... odd

Hey, Gdscards.com.

I think you're probably having a different problem. Yahoo is showing some google ads to fill their excess inventory, but they have certainly not usurped their entire network and replaced it with AdWords. I'd check and make sure your ads are all approved and active. Then search for them and see if they show up. Also, check and see if you've made the minimum bid.
