Yahoo/overture declined listings
...because of "site Broken". But the site is up and running fine. The main site is a https://www site. The http://www version will automatically redirect to the secure site. So I started to enter the https version to make sure yahoo would not be confused. Some were approved yesterday. Well I just had 30 keywords declined again for "broken site" using the https on the forms. My site was up during this same exact time frame.
I have also had success entering the site either way... sometimes it works. Do they have a glitch... ? and seems to be no easy way to resubmit. |

I have had the same problem in the past when my site has never been down ( and I dont have any https or other issues). They don't seem to make any sense.

This usually happens when the site times out. The bot is quick and has its own time out timer. Its different than the one that naturally crawls your web to index it.
The other thing you can do is contact Yahoo directly. |

thanks
I did call them direct and they resubmiited the failed listings for me and they work. A resubmit button may be in the works. They said they had no way to adjust the patience of their robot when it checks the site's existence. I wish they could adjust it to wait a second at least. I can't tell the site is slow to respond under normal usage...
They are friendly and helpful there. |

In your case, I would simply keep re-submitting.
Good luck! |
