what does this term mean in adwords?
just starte firstadwords campaign. When I look at summary
I see : "search total" click= 18 and "content total" clicks = 47- what is this? Besides the actual keywords they only ad up to 18. What is "content total?" Thanks! Lisa |

Content stats are for your ads that are shown on websites outside of Google. Some people run there ads out there and some limit their ads to show on Google search only. I have had good luck with the content sites so I stick with them - but you should do tracking to see if they pay for you.

I'd have to agree with EGOL. With "Content Network" turned on, my ad reaches many targeted niches improving it's performance. Perhaps you've seen "Content Network" Ads -- they appear as "Ads By Google" on a publishers site. Using "Content Network" I've found my ad on many community portals where prospects visit daily and in most cases interact on blogs and forums regularly. The majority of my clicks and impressions come from "Content-Targeting". In fact, I now write ads specifically for certain portals based on individual portal/community content -- with much success.
Have fun and good luck. Last edited by All-Pop : January 20th, 2005 at 09:25 AM. Reason: mispelling |
