Suspected click fraud
The company I work for is highly suspicious of another competing company and their use of click fraud utilizing proxy servers. Is there software or any other means to attempt to verify this suspicion.
Thanks |

Check your log files and see if there are suspicious patterns, also send your log files to Google with your suspicions. My company has had £1,000's in credit from click fraud reports that I have sent them. There are also many different click fraud tracking tools out there now. |

This should be stored on your web server what you are looking for are the client IP address, the date and time stamp, the referrer and page requested. This should help you identify click fraud. I use TD Searchware to track this although not built as a click fraud tracking tool it gives me all the info I need to know as it will tell me what keywords have been searched on and when, how often, if they convert, who the referrer is etc. I can't recommend any actual click fraud monitoring tools but have a search for them and see if you can find reviews. Good luck. |
