Pro Survey....Which is the Best and Why?

If a newby were going to try a PPC campaign....which search engine would you recommend and why?

I know that Google gets about 60% of the activity and Yahoo and MSN are also high...but what about the smaller engines?

Are smaller Engines more likely to have click fraud? (speaking of PPC only...not content or affiliate advertising).

I was considering 7search...but don't know if this the appropriate engine for Testing a site (or landing page).

Is Google the Best Engine for testing?

Any Constructive input is greatly appreciated...

Thanks!

For pure traffic numbers and ad placement relevance: Google. For cost per click, Yahoo appears to be fairer.

Others claim that there are services which are better. IMO, most of those people, for whatever reason, cannot get an account with Google or Yahoo. It comes down to the number of clicks (this takes traffic) and how much you have to pay per click. Conversion is up to you.

Bottomline: What do I use when I do PPC? Adwords... Because it takes traffic for PPC to work... Google provides that traffic.

-7search
-Enhance

Have you tried them?

Cheers!

The top 3 search engines yield almost all of the search engine traffic. Why (rhetorically) go anywhere else? To use other search engines, IMO, will not yield much on effort expended.

Direct answer: I have never used the engines you have referenced. Not saying they are bad... just not important to SEO.

True....Although i am no expert (by any stretch of the imagination) i would think that SEO would concentrate exclusively on the highest ranking engines....good point.
