How do you track and know that they are fraudalent clicks? Just curious.. perhaps they are sort of interested to see what you have to offer but don't necessarily want to buy today.. or are you tracking repeated clicks from the same ip (that is not a major isp) ?

use smaller PPC companies

We run a serviced office search engine in the UK and AddWord phrases for our company run between 20p and £7.
At £7 pounds, our competitors would hurt us with click abuse, since we are one of the new kids on the block in our industry.

we found a great company called DirectTraffic.org that not only got us in the generic listings of google for a smaller cost per click, but they also have great click abuse control. I would recommend the for all your clients.

enjoy

Dear Nandini,

Read my article about hidden cost of ppc (crawler/fradulent clicks) in the following link
http://forums.seochat.com/t17026/s.html

We had product, we used to earlier run only Search campaign in AdWord, we had good results, then we started content campaign too, but in this case, our visitors to website increased but ultimate download of product and actual buyers were same like before, visitors were increased by 3 times but there was no change in number of downloads (download requires email address post form so it cant be crawled). This proves that maximum of them were crawlers, I have made some better checks on my website to calculate all these statistics and then will try to publish an ebook free soon. We simply disabled content AdWord and our revenue is same !!!

Nandini,

Muliple clicks from same IP do not get charged. We have tested this in the past for clients. Dont know what sort of frauds are attacking you.

Is it the secret army of India's Click(ers) I read an article in Times of India about this !!

How do you have only the search campaign? Rather than the content campaign? Where is the option to stop it?

I'd be interested in stopping the content campaign for our more expensive (for us) keywords.

Go into the campaign and click Edit Campaign Settings. Then uncheck the content network and/or the search network, depending on how much you want to limit things.

You can't do this by keyword, only by campaign.
