PPC Arbitrage?
This isn't exactly SEO, but it's related to PPC advertising . . .
Has anyone ever tried PPC arbitrage? By that I mean, advertising a site for a certain keyword, with AdSense or Yahoo ads on the site for related keywords, exploiting pricing differences? Or advertising on Yahoo for a given keyword and then running AdSense for that very same keyword to take advantage of a price different between Yahoo and Google? I only thought of it because of this site I ran across while researching for another project: www_personal-injury-source_com seems to be trying to arbitrage between Google and Yahoo. Is there money to be made here? Or is it impossible? Just does anyone on these forums have experience in this sort of thing? (If this is too "black hat" for you, please don't bother saying so - just don't respond. I personally don't think it's black hat. If anything, running sites like this will make PPC markets more stable instead of some of the out of control bidding that occurs with Yahoo. Either way, the thread doesn't benefit at all by someone telling those who are interested in this that it's wrong to be.) |

This is not new
I find this extremely common, especially for parked pages. It has created an entire industry.
If you search any keyword and look at the lower ranked ads almost all of them are ad only pages. For the most part anyone that uses AdWords (or simliar) & AdSense (or similar) is making money from this, or atleast trying! just my $.02 |
