PPC adverts as an aid to organic search listing
Hi
I am not sure if this is the correct place to post this so I apologize if it is not. If you run a ppc campaign in say Google for a period of say 6-12 months will this have any effect on the way that google ranks your site when the campaign is switched off? Obviously you may get a positive effect because more people may wish to link back to you, but apart from that I cannot see any other benefits. What is everyone else's opinion on this? Regards

It has been documented that Google does NOT tie Adwords advertising with its organic results. Your money would be better spent building links to improve your organic ranking.
