PPC 1 Day Course by Wordtracker - Ian Howie - More Information required?

Hi There,

I need some advise really but I was not sure if this was exactly the right place to post the question, please move it into the appropriate section if I have selected the wrong place, my apologies in advances.

Anyway the questions is this, My CEO is looking to send me on a course with Wordtracker for PPC marketing, I am interested in this as we are branching out with our clients into this market...

What I would like to know is, do you think this course is worth the money and has anyone ever completed it? Any feedback appreciated...

The main lecturer is Ian Howie... he is from a prolific company apparently and explains you will get more of an investment out of this session than any other course, well that sounds the same story I have heard before many times over…

Anyway it’s not cheap for 1 day so do you think you can give me anymore information on the person doing the course or the course it's self?

Look forward to your replies...

Kind Regards

Raider

One idea can be worth a million dollars over time. You can get that idea from the speaker or get that idea from talking with people before and after the meeting. I usually get more ideas from people than from speakers... if you know which people to spend time with or which person to target for your one big question. I've been able to ask Matt Cutts and other smart people questions directly by attending these meetings.

Be glad that you work at a place where your boss supports this. I used to work at a place where they bragged about being "cutting edge" but had a professional development budget for a staff of over 100 people that was only a little more than I now spend on myself.

Hi there,

How did this work out for you?

I also find live webinars a valuable asset, especially the Q+A sessions at the end, I've picked up some great tips as the presenters are more than willing to share their info.

Cheers JOe
