High paying keywords

I'm getting only 4 cents per click on my site. What are the highest paying keywords so that i can influence adsense to show only the best ads.
Thanks

Hi polocolto,

You can get a list of high paying keywords at Spyfu.com. It's based on PPC cost to advertisers so it's just an indication.

An important thing to consider is the quality of your content. If you attract buyers to your site with the right kind of content, then advertisers will compete with ever higher bids on your ad space.

The key is to help your advertisers sell and they will pay more for your ad space.

as higher paid keyword you work on - as harder to get people who click on it that really interested in the topic

there are a lot of topics which cost higher than 4 cents - you can check out here (ask.inwiki.org/Adsense_top_paying_keywords)

dburk disagrees: If you create appropriate content you attract the traffic that will click.

It's not hard getting people to click ads on a topic they are interested.

If you are going after the kind of traffic that the higher paying advertisers are looking for, you are going into a more competitive area. The work is in getting traffic while competing with so many other websites in that niche for the same traffic.

Again, the better the quality of your content the easier it will be to get targeted traffic. If you are clever, you will learn how to turn your competitor's strength into your advantage.

If you don't want to work that hard for the big money, then fine, it leaves that much more for the rest of us.

Your site

Its no use developing a site that is just about high paying keywords unless you are attracting the correct readership.

dburk agrees: Spot on, your traffic source is the key.
