Hi, I m going to start PPC with no idea..Please help me out

Can anyone help me to know that how much I should charge to manage a pay per click marketing campaign. I have a customer who wants to manage X number of PPC words. He wants to know how much i charge to manage that on top of the cost of buying the word. In other words if he bought a hundred words & his budget was $1000, $500, $100 whatever fro words how much on top of that would be my mgmt fee. He represents doctors so the customer is not going to the site & purchasing products off of the site.

What can i do for him?

charge for ppc

check other SEO firms to see how much they charge, do a search on Goo and email some of them.

I've heard some charge 10 to 15% of the budget, depends on the dollar amount. Less % if higher budget...

Charge whetever you think its worth.
If you are giving good advice and a valuable service and are a google adwords proffessional you can charge upto 30%.

If you are new to adwords and dont have a lot of experience you should be charging 5%

PPC cost is based on calculation .. Go to googe adword , creat an account if you don't have already .. creat your ad there .. select your daily budget or cpc amount , you'll get a total number of hits and position your website will have , for this you'll need to be very sensitive becuase many firms offer a rock bottom price for PPC becuase they manage a small commission ratio ..

some people charge a percentage of what they feel they saved (although as markets get more competitive over time that makes less sense)

some charge a low flat rate for simple accounts. others charge a % of ad spend.

another way of looking at it is seeing how much time you think it would take you to do the work, and then charge a rate which would be similar to getting paid for so many hours of work. make sure you round up your time guestimates for if and when bad things happen you do not have to work dirt cheap or ask for more money.

I would say charge a monthly fee plus a percentage of the spend. So if you charge them for example $500.00 as a monthly fee them if they spend 5000.00 oer month on PPC charge them an additional 5-10%on that 5000.00. That way your at least getting something outof it. I worked for a search marketing company before I broke off on my own and that what we did and what I do now.

How efficient are you with AdWords?

I assume "sales" are client/customer referrals which is a bit different than doing 'product purchases'.

If you know AdWords inside out - "top dollar"... if a on the job training price accordingly.

Better a damn good referral out of it than a bunch of doctors that can cause you grief if this go south! ;)
