Help with Shopping Engines

Can you guys/gals please rank/recommend the top four or five shopping engines, in order of popularity? Feel free to chime in also with any comments, either good or bad, on each engine. From what little I can see, they are:

1) shopping.com
2) nextag.com
3) bizrate.com
4) froogle.com

Any thoughts/comments on each one, in addition to any other good ones?

JP

Thumbs up

froogle #1 because it's free

rest depends upon what kind of industry you are looking for. I have seen different kind of ROI from same merchants in different categories.

Although I use froogle for many of my products, I have not really gotten much success from it. I rank well for most of my items for keyword phrases that do well with adwords and overture, but I only get 2 or 3 hits a month from it.

I think as time goes by these shopping engines may do well, however I just don't see any real usage coming from them. I wouldn't pay for inclusion on any of these sites.

I actually get better rankings in froogle then I do google. But most of my sites are still in the sand box.

I would have to say Froogle definatly. I've put trackers on most links from shopping engines and in the past month froogle accounts for perhaps 50% or more of our total internet sales so far this season. The ppc's we barely pay for themselves, some are not even doing that. Not sure why people say they have not done well with this. Just have to be competitive on prices & shipping costs. Not to mention being friendly with the customers helps in the internet buisness as well as normal retail. Cheers!
