Help me out guys!!!!!

Hi all, I am running a PPC campaign on overture with a daily budget of £100. Alternatively I at times, run the campaign with the budgeting switched off. The ROI is not upto the expected levels and what is bothering me most is a type of pattern that develops each day. The number of conversions unbeliveably remains static at a given value(+/-) 2. Can any of you tell me the reason behind such behaviour of my campaign. Is it anyway affected to the budget Ihave set? Help me guys, I am loosing money!!!!

Hi,

Your daily budget is not affecting your performance in overture. Also turn on the budget feature. In your case, as far as i could know, you could take a look on the keywords which have clicks and no conversions. If you spot such keywords then keep it offline and keep a close look on the account to see if there are some changes. Also look at the landing page and see to it that its easy to navigate and also relevant to the ad content. Try bidding at lower positions and monitor the performance of your campaign for some days and accordingly decide on the positions. I hope this might help you and do let me know if it works.

Good luck to you.

-Turn off your budget and monitor it more closely.
-Be aware that any changes made to your account do not happen immediately, figure 2-3 hrs.
-Use scheduling according to my first recommendation and Analytics.
-Be sure your landing pages mirror your keywords.
-I spend 10-12 hrs per day running PPC campaigns...its not a part-time job, or quick fix. Especially with Google's new PPC algorithm. I spent 300 hrs on 1 campaign, but they are #1 on 50k keyword/kw phrases and spent 1/3 what they were spending 2 months ago for lower positions, and even on their top 4 terms which are extremely general.

GaryTheScubaGuy,

Can you share what you did to improve your PPC position with Google's new algorithms?

Thanks!
