Good Traffic but No Leads

Hi..I am currently running an ad words account. The traffic is good to the account but not receiving any leads. I did modified the ad copy with "keyword insert" feature but its of no use.

Can any body suggest me ...how to proceed to record the leads??????

the landing page has to convince your clients they need your product. are you using a broad range of keywords of highly targeted?

Exactly. You should be targetting your ads to match your landing page as much as possible. If you're using a more general landing page, you'll get more people who are there to browse than people who are there specifically to purchase your product.

Turn off the Content Network for now, until you start getting leads and figure out how much it is costing you per lead. Set up conversion tracking too so you know which keywords are creating the leads for you. Start by using phrase match (cheaper than exact and less irrelevant clicks than broad- unless you have a good grasp of your negative keywords). Don't worry about how much traffic you are getting until you are making sales, then do more of what is working. Only worry about how targeted and relevant your traffic is.

Adwords need some skills or trial and error to find the best settings for you.
Target the region/country you wanna promote. Try will small area first.
Don't go for brad search first, start with narrow specific keywords. Use the keyword tool find the best keyword for you. Think of any new keywords related to your niche.
You have to find which one is good for you, Google site or content network.
Good luck.

keyword choice

As has been mentioned here, many factors go into running a successful ad campaign . First and far most, I would say-seek to be targeted rather than general in your choice of keywords.
I'm from Kontera ad network so if you have any specific questions, I'd be happy to answer.

Bye,
Mika

Traffic only converts when you offer something very useful to them. ;)

That's an issue of relevancy- the type of ads you serve.

People don't buy for many reasons:

They don't need what you're offering
They can't afford what you're offering
They like the competition's offering more
They don't believe you.

That last one is crucial. Make sure your website, especially the landing page is trustworthy while offering something worthwhile.

Conversions are the holy grail for search engine advertising, and you'll only be able to increase them by constantly testing different things.

In addition to what all have said above -I would advise that you try out Google optimiser and see which layout and design elements affects your conversion rates.
