Ajdee -

Yes I have used it a few times. It has never produced positive financial results for my clients. For one particular client that operated in a hyper-comeptitive marketplace with plenty of demand volume, Enhanced.com delivered plenty of traffic but it achieved absolutely poor conversion. This was with a website that was converting Overture and Adwords traffic at a rate between 4% - 6%. If I recall correctly, I believe that they require a $100 initial deposit which may be too much just to test out if it converts.

Althoguh if you are selling a high priced item with large margnis then $100 to test Enhanced.com may be well worth your time. Just since it failed to produce for me doesn't mean it coudn't be a great opportunity for you. So test it if your website's financial metrics can support the initial deposit with the potential of not generating a return.

My recommendation is to stick with Overture and Adwords then move to FindWhat and maybe Kanoodle. Although Kanoodle's performance has been sub-par for most of my clients. I also suggest, if your website generates decent sales and if you have a decent monthly advertising budget, to negotiate a discount or something with Enhanced. Sometimes it works since they want you to be happy and continue advertising with them for the long-term. This approach has worked well with EPilot before.

I have used them before with mixed results. There are better options out there.

Thank you for your answers. We are using AdWords right now, and we will try Overture in the near future.

Three words about enhance, formerly ah-ha: garbage, garbage, garbage. I tried them during the 2003 holiday season, got a signup bonus and such. PPC rates were low, got alot of traffic, but 0 conversions. This is basically impossible for a real targetted PPC program -- and this is what they claim to be. I don't really think the traffic is artifically produced (by crawlers and such), however I do believe they are associated with some pay to surf networks. This would explain why you would get traffic from people that have no interest in your product.

From my experience, Overture is comparable to adwords. I've been using them since they were goto.com, but not so much anymore since adwords traffic has a little better quality for my market.
