    Dropping a PPC campaign

Will google penalize me for dropping my PPC campaign ?

The reason for that question is, my website not coming up in serp.

We have dropped, restarted, dropped, res... etc many times over the years. To date we have seen zero impact on SERPs natural placement of our keywords. You should have experienced the same. It is likely a coincidence.

    • EGOL → agrees: Same here... we start/stop for vacations, inventory levels, biz model change and there is zero impact of organic SERPs.
    • DarrenHaye → agrees!
    • fathom → agrees: Ya... there is no causation between Organic and PPC

    Actually that "DEPENDS".

Google quality scores don't kick in until it has enough history on your pattern of clicks.

The more clicks you get the more it bumps you up for the same price.

But if you don't stick around long enough (6-8 weeks usually) you never get to test the cheap awesome power of PPC.

...and here I'll plug my favorite PPC Management company Jumpfly.
