Does PPC Google Slap Affect natural listings

If you get google slapped on ppc for an affiliate site, does this affect your ability to optimize the site for the natural listings? I ask as about 5 months ago my site ps3offer.co.uk was doing really well in google for high ranked keywords and on the first page positions 4-6 for 3 keywords, then i got slapped on ppc and my natural listings dissapeared, recently though for a couple of days they appeared again for the keywords in the same positions (5 months later!) then dissapeared again! i hadn't built any links in that time as i had new domains to beat the slap and i was building new sites, i am now ready to start optimizing for the natural listings and don't know which site to optimize (i have 3 ps3 sites because of google slapping) the site ps3offer has not been banned and is still No1 for the keyword "ps3 offer" (which is doesn't bring any traffic!!!) and in yahoo is still on the 1st page of all my keywords.

Please give me some advice if you have encountered this situation before

PPC affecting natural rankings.

Even if PPC does affect your current rankings, things might change as they always do,typically, with the elusive Google. One instance is CTR - if you don't get a high CTR, natural rankings might plummet. Google is a chaotically intelligent mass algo. On a paradox, the more intelligently (aka optimized) your campaigns are developed, the better the treat.

I named the process of philandering Google for rankings THE GOOGLE SMOOCH. Once you get it going, you'll get it coming...

Hi imageaudio,

If your PPC campaigns were slapped due to landing page issues then those same issues may have some impact on your natural listings for the same reasons.

Google has added a nice feature that gives you some explaination as to why your keywords have earned a poor quality score. Use that to see if gives you a clue as to why you were slpped and it may give you insite into your SERP woes as well.
