Question Comprehensive list of the engines
is there somewhere a comprehensive realiable list of all (at least major) per per click engines or providers that lists their costs and reviews them impartially?

Google (network), Yahoo (network), and MSN (network).

That accounts for 90%+ of all paid click traffic.

The rest is "ABSOLUTELY" about your niche and industry specific venues as the other "general interest" ones you will pay but generate a null in roi.

Unless really warranted, IMO to go utside of the big three is a total waste of time. With Yahoo now losing advertisers to Google big time, even Yahoo is suspect.

I never said they were reliable. In fact I would say most are not. Click Fraud is rampant and out of control. I would invest in good CF monitoring software, set conservative budgets, create landing pages that are seo friendly (but not over optimized), and watch them closely.
