Are ABCSearch's clicks fake?

I have been enhancing my hits by using PPC's for a long time. About 3 to 4 months ago ABC Search started sending visitor's in much larger numbers than before. By something like 7-8 times larger. However it somehow did not increase my enquiries.

About 6 weeks or so ago I stopped all PPC as we had plenty of enquires coming in.

Last Sunday I added ABCSearch back on. It is sending me almost as many clicks as Google does! (I am 2nd position in Google for that search term) But, no difference in the number of enquiries.... What gives?

you can get the ip and URL of those clicks by using one of the popular hit counters or by directing them to a page rigged with a perl script that records the environment variables

your logs should also have useful info.

if that was my money, i'd cut 'em off

ABCSearch worked for me

Each time I saw questionable traffic, they charged them as "unbilled" clicks. I have had a very good experience with ABCSearch because they are way more affordable and approachable than GG and Yahoo. I was able to geo target and remove any affiliates that didn't work for me. My conversion rates weren't as high as google, but I ended up making a larger profit due to the whole world not bidding on my keywords. Hope this helps.

AdWare

We also have traffic from ABCSearch and no enquiries. There are entries on Google about AdWare called ABCSearch. Is this the same abcsearch who are sending us PPC traffic?

What a whiz that would be - infect users PCs with Adware - popups appear and for any clicks they earn affiliate commissions - advertisers pay for the clicks but make no sales.

Question - is the adware abcsearch the same abcsearch who are referring us traffic?

Thanks
Mick
