Anyone else use Chitika?

It's a contextual ad company, but they are mainly product based. They get feeds from cj and several other affiliate programs. I threw it on a few of my sites to check out and per click it is making quite a bit more than adsense in "some" areas. It should work pretty well in product based niches. Anyhow, it's another tool I came across. Should help for those that have been banned by adsense or are trying to find an alternative.

They actually have been outperforming AdSense on the sites I am using it on. My only complaint and what I think hurts them is having affiliates. The program is so good I think it will get plenty of new users through its quality.

I have seen so much Spam in the last week unfortunately with people posting merely to get their affiliate id in. If I didn't know how good they were, I would have probably stayed away based on the amount of Spam.

Yeah I hear you on that. They probably did it mainly to get the word spread faster. I've used them for about a month in total and really have been impressed. I didn't want this to come across as spam which is why I clearly stated that the first url was a referral url.

How well Chitika does seems to be based on the type of site that you have. I've made $18 since putting it up earlier this week but that's out of 32,000 impressions

Thanks, I appreciate it. I'm just finishing up my first month with them and so far so good. It made more on my forums than adsense by far, but didn't touch adsense on a couple other sites. As stated above, the type of content you have seems to determine the success.

What do you think about their ad content as compared to adsense?

as far as targeting? They seem pretty decent on my automotive sites usually showing on target ads.

I also heared only good things about them.

I've been using Chitika for a couple of months and am impressed so far. I expected that it might take a bit away from my AS or YPN income, but it hasn't (that I can tell, anyway). The key is to pick specific keywords for each page you ad it too. Don't use generic terms.

i am not overly impressed with it like i was when adsense came out but time will tell and its a lot better for us all having more streams of income or choices.

there is still nothing that beats adsense, but this is definitely outperforming any regular ad networks I have tried on my sites.

I was talking to some spammers at `the worlds first black hat seo` meeting the other day and one of them told me it was outperforming adsense on some of his product based sites.
