Any experience with results from local PPC

We are a regional business. We show well for searches for our main keywords in general and very well for our keywords with our region, Maryland, Washington, DC, Virginia, MD, VA. Conversions are good for keywords plus the region. We are curious about clicks, ROI and conversions from the media that carry ppc. Any experience on this?

Thanks

We've just started in this. So recently that we don't have a comparison compared to our normal stats.

I'm expecting slightly better, but not significantly.

Thanks

Since we show up well for all regional relevant references to our site, I have no interest in either google adsense placement or placement on other search engines. I'm solely interested in the local media. I don't even know how to find out what media would carry google adsense, especially which in this region (Washington DC metro region)

When you talk about AdSense you are talking about content search on other publications.... the local search is mainly AdWords based right now.
