A recommendation for new PPC advertisers

Here's a quick tip i thought I'd post to those looking to start with PPC.

SEO's often say Google is all that matters, and as far as that is concerned i tend to agree. However, don't knock Yahoo when it comes to PPC. Even though Google has about 50% search market share, and Yahoo has half that at 25%, we actually get MORE total conversions from Yahoo Search Marketing. Thing is, the amount of impressions follows the search share...way more with Google, and way more clicks. Not only that, the cost is a lot lower on Yahoo.

I currently use it for just one niche, so that may explain it. But for us, Yahoo has a much higher ROI and total revenue than Google adwords.

So in conclusion, don't discount it Give it a try. Hopefully this may help someone, it surprised me and i thought i'd share.

Cheers for that "Porcelain".

I'm about to delve into the murky depths of ppc and note that Yahoo will give me £50 when i deposit monies into my ad account,so your experiences are of interest.

Thanks
