Paid Inclusion

I think the biggest benifit of paid inclusion is the rapid refresh rate. This will allow you to achieve top listings rapidly if you use feedback correctly.

As far as picking a search engine i would recomend Inktomi. It is already used by MSN and will soon be used by Yahoo.

Inktomi is now owned by Yahoo and they dont offer Paid Inclusion any more. The new Yahoo program is called Site Match. They charge a per URL fee, as well as a per click fee. We use it but we hate the per click fee. Its barely worth it for us any more.

I agree. I was starting to really like the Inktomi paid inclusion because of the quick refresh rate then it was gone. I still have a few in there to play with but they will be expiring soon. I don't use the site match because I don't want ads shown in the US (I'm competitive in Europe) and I don't think they have great regional targeting.
