Buy popunders is a good option?

I'm thinking about to buy popunders.

Supose that I get a really speedy page with general content. The question is fix how many of these popunders will be converted in real visitors.

What do you think? 10%? 20%? 30%?

Has someone experienced this?

I have purchased popunders from various web developer type of sites. The conversion rate is more like 5% in my experience.

Jcaputo,

You mean the clickthrough rate is 5%, right?

Sorry.

I was asking how much of these "popundered users" will remain into my site.

If my site is open in 100 popups, 50 users will close the new window on the fly, 20 users take a look and close the window, 20 users cant't see my site (i.e. server down or slow) and 10 users will stay and browse my site.

Are these right numbers?

The real question is that my IPM (income per thousand) is around X$, i need to know how effective are popunders to decide.
