Targeting Adwords by Gender
G'day,
Has anyone got experience here with using Adwords targeted specifically to certain demographic groups?
ie. as in: http://support.google.com/adwords/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=2601388
I want to split some ads by gender to see what different in results we get.
In Facebook this is really easy, I've never used it in Adwords though. Any recommended procedures or tips on this would be great!

Keep in mind two things about the demographic targeting in Adwords.
1. Will work only when opted-in to the content network.
2. Will work only if data from the network is available. So if a site does not give that information, your ads will not be demographically targeted on that site. Most sites don't provide this to Google.
