Question Individual PCC Campaign vs. Jump Page Campaign

In determining the right focus for 2009, it is obvious that we need to do more PPC since we are an online business. We have multiple individual sites and a "master" site if you will. The individual sites are specific to certain geo-locations and can therefore take advantage of the geo-targeting options.

Rather than do all individual campaigns as have been done in the past, would it make sense to do broader range campaigns, mentioning the individual sites benefits, but sending all of the click through-s to the "master" site which would be; in essence, a jump page to the final choice site?

I am trying to determine if this would be a better economic solution as well as perhaps a way to generate more traffic overall. Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated.

    Hi MJD,

The broad campaign idea is a bad one. If you send your paid traffic to the best possible landing page you will see less abandonment. Don't make your visitors search for the right page.

Additionally, Adwords has a Quality Score that is partially based on how relevant your landing page is to your keyword and ad text. A general page that is less targeted will earn you a lower quality score and cost you a lot more for the same traffic.
