Yahoo Submit Url form - what is the 'Security Email ID'?

What the heck is the 'Security Email ID' Yahoo asks for on the Submit URL page? I'm (re-)doing a free submission, and I'm trying to do it by the book, but I have no idea what they want here. An email address? A password? A secret handshake? Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet?

Maybe a secret question answer that you used to sign up. Possibly they emailed you something to confirm that the email address you used is valid? My first guess would be the email address you used withouth the @yahoo.com, or the password.

I tried it a couple of times, using my-yahoo-id and my-yahoo-id@yahoo.com alternatively. I still haven't figured it out.

Hope someone with real info will post here soon...

It seems odd that such a perplexing question would come up about a commonly used form.

I just resubmitted a site, and I tried entering a single word, and the form complained that the format of my email address was incorrect. I changed it to my email address, and it accepted it.

Why on earth, if you wanted someone to enter an email address, would you call it an "email security ID"? The form also tells you this:

You will need to retain this email ID for your records as we will ask you to identify it when you contact us about your listing.

That doesn't make any sense... of course I "retain" my own email address. And anyway, if they wanted to contact me, they could do it through my Yahoo login (I had to login to use the form). Mysterious. Maybe they're just trying to flummox me and get me to use the PAID option!
