Lightbulb Yahoo! Now Re-spidering Sites in 2-3 Days?

Even without using their PPI service,

Yahoo's technology has evolved to the point where moderate to high
Web-Ranked sites
are now being re-spidered every 48 to 72 hours...

The PPI may now only be an asset to brand sites that need an immediate push.

This didn't happen to my site until I was a PR 7. Is that the case with you guys, or is this happening to lower PR sites?

My site is a lowly PR5 and I see slurp in there almost everyday sucking up some major BW. I am not laughing all the way to the bank but I am rather pleased with the results. This has been going on for about 3 weeks now. With the fact that I have included a few blogs into the equation and added them to my yahoo page as rss feeds it appears this has really helped though I will state I can not prove it. With that said I am seeing pages getting indexed in under 24 hours using that method at Y. Just make sure you update your blog when you update a site that is linked to it. It took Y about 3 weeks to pick up the blog sites but when that happened any links going out are picked up in less than a day in most cases ... G about 3 months and M I am still waiting though I will state I already had some good results going with the new M.

I have a PR 5 too and at the top of 300,000-800,000 page searches, but they still have a cache of my homepage from 2 months ago.

Not sure why but I've been told not to submit to the search engines directly. So I've been holding my breath for a while now
