Yahoo don't accept credit card

I've tried to submit my blog to Yahoo Directory (paid inclusion) but the site doesn't accept my credit card.
The problem is that my credit card expires 09/12 but the order form only goes up to xx/11.

What to do? Can I pay some SEO firm to make the inclusion?

Best Regards

Was that just a random guess because unless they dont validate credit card information (which Im sure they do) then that simply wont work.

Easiest options I can suggest is use another card if you have one or if not borrow onw from a friend or family member. You could of course also contact Yahoo but that may not be quite as quick.

This is becoming a fairly common problem, we have been caught short oursleves on some sites we developed. It seems credit card companies are issuing cards with very long expiry dates. With all the credit card fraud nowadays why they issue a card that doesn't expire for 6 years and even longer seems rather irrational.

might have just been for the records? I know for sure if its expired you wont be able to continue...

You can try it, it may work, dont worry you wont have FBI/MI5 and armed police jumping through your windows and get arrested!

Credit card not expired

My credit card isn't expired. It expires in 2012. The problem is the order form at Yahoo.

I could borrow a credit card from a friend, but then the transaction will not appear in my bank account. It would be better if I could let some company handle the order at Yahoo, and then just get them to send me an invoice. I'll try to find someone.

You totally mis-interperated it...

I meant the expiry date is just for their records i.e. if the current date isn't past that of the expiry it may allow it to be processed. Only if the date is of or past the expiry that the card will be rejected.

i.e. EXPIRY 09/12
if the date was 10/12 it wouldnt be accepted.
if the date was something like 09/11 its prior to the real expiry date so shouldnt be an issue bcos it hasn't expired.

Like the issue date isn't enforced...many shops just stick the current date down..so you dont have to put when you received it from the bank as no1 knows. Like similar to some cards with issue numbers they arent required.

The 3 bit of information to my knowledge that are required are:
1) Card Number
2) Security Code
3) Card Holders name

But then again i use PayPal alot for transactions and not cards.

You could always contact yahoo and ask them, they should know how their payment system works.

Play nice please.

Click4. Eat a bagel or something and everyone stop arguing over a stupid credit card

As for an answer why dont you just call Yahoo directly and give them the CC info
