Wouldn't Believe It
Hi, I run a NON-PROFIT site related to Buddhism at http://buddhism.lioncity.net
It a portal with tons of articles and tons of postings (More than 4000 pages). I had submitted to Yahoo! since half a year ago and til now still no luck. I request regulars on my site to submit to Yahoo! too and lots of them did that and still no luck.
My site is the most authoritative site on Buddhism and it has an average page view of more than 10,000 daily. The 4 sites (under Buddhism Chat/Forum) in their directory are not even in existent anymore and they still refuse to index me.
Can anyone please advise me on what to do?

Well, your site is a .net and not a .org. You run Google AdSense advertising as well as some banner ads. Your site could definitely be considered commercial even if you claim it is non-profit. Is the site owned by a registered non-profit organization? If so, you might consider making that clear in your next attempt...

Also, the listed URL is a sub-domain for www.lioncity.net. Did Yahoo already list the main domain? Directories generally do not like to provide multiple listings for deep content of a domain.

Google adsense was added just a few days ago and within our site, beside adsense, we do not have any other banner ad.

Our main domain was not listed either.

But we have a new domain http://www.e-sangha.com that points to http://buddhism.lioncity.net
Do you think submitting http://www.e-sangha.com will help?
