I can't imagine why anybody would produce a wedding directory. Most of us don't get married more than four times in our lives! How many visitors would this site expect to get for my fifth wedding?

That is a terrific internet topic. Existing sites get lots of traffic. Sites associated with that topic and many of its vendors do lots of business off the web.

It often gets very localized traffic for vendors; caterer, florist, hotel, limo's, tux rentals, etc. Gifts are available on a world wide basis.

Its a money making topic if done right.

I think itīs a great idea to have such a niche directory as yours

Itīs better to have 1/1 wedding directory than 1/1000000 general directory

It's apparent you are all guys. I run a DJ company in Fargo, ND (By Request DJ & Karaoke Company). Weddings are my primary business, and easily half my bookings have checked us out online before they call me. I started putting some wedding planning articles on the site and put google ads along side them. My site now pulls in 25,000 visitors a month. The site is no longer an expense like my yellow page ad!
