Vanished from Yahoo! Why?
Our site vanisehd from Yahoo after being ranked #2 for months. We are still ranked #2 in google.
What would cause this? Do you have to pay the $299 to Yahoo to be listed on the site? Any help would be great.... Thanks, MOFF |

Are you still missing from Yahoo! What is your Web address?
To be listed in the Yahoo! directory you need to pay, unless your a non-profit organization. Please share more details.

If you are still listed in Google then you should be in the Yahoo Web results as well as they are generated both from the Google index. Only the directory results and sponsored listing are directly affected by Yahoo

Yeah we do need more info Rusty but If he is in Google than is he not in Yahoo web results by default? I mean there may be some discrepancy with regards to placement as there are some contributing factors to the way each SERP is listed but if he's on Google than he's on Yahoo (i think

Should be, but Yahoo might be using data from a different Google data center.
there are times where Google doesn't match AOL, MSN etc. There are times when Google doesnt match Google Info required. |
