Url Biz
I have been working with the folks over at http://www.url.biz/ is a pretty cool new directory, its human edited and your links placement is based on how many approved articles you submit. The premise is that the more information you have about your subject the more you must be an authority on that subject (At least I think thats how it goes lol) Anyways, like many directories they shroud their links in javascript to avoid abuse however I got them to provide me with a free sign up for Direct (non shrouded links) so if you guys are looking for a free backlink from a relevant category here is the signup

i am not digging all of the links jammed in at the bottom of every page. they arent listings...they are very spammy written ads. they look like every nasty spam email i have even gotten all in one big column. not a quality thing to be associated with in my opinion.
