Top Competitor Removed from Directory!
Just want to say that I removed my top competitor from the Yahoo directory!
This site was being used to link to 40 of his spammy domains often with adult content. This site used to be legitimate, until a Hong Kong spammer purchased it, due to its high PR. The original content stayed the same, but at the bottom of every page, he linked to his daisy chain of spam. I emailed Yahoo at url-support@yahoo-inc.com , mentioning how they are linking to innapropriate content and spam. Within one day, they emailed me, thanking me, saying that they removed the site! They appreciated my help in reporting spam. I am curious to see the effects on his search rankings. This could offer insight into the value of a Yahoo directory listing in the serps. I will keep you guys posted.

hmmm I also have reported a certain website for an unethical linking mechanism that cloaks real hompages. However, this site is still at the top with thousands of Yahoo backlinks.

Well that really sucks for Mr. Hong Kong spammer....
But what's right is right.... Wonder what he paid for it.... How high was the PR?
