Question Submitting my website to directories
Hi Guys,

In the past few days, I heard alot of talking about directories and how this affects the website and its ranking. So, I decided to submit my website to some directories. I already did that for DMOZ & Yahoo.

My question is:
Is there a list of directories that can help me do this? also is there any hints/tips that you may help me with?

Oh my god! this is too hard... isn't there any quicker way to do this??

I'm using RoboForm to fill out the sites' requirements, but this is taking too much time! Can you help please?

If your budget allows, go with the bigger directories that charge like yahoo and business.com.

There are also services that will for a fee have you fill in all the needed information 1 x then they have a list of directories they automatically submit to. Normally its aroud $.50 per. Some give you a report back with what ones were successful.

If money is a object then you are doing it the right way.

It sure is a tedious process submitting to directories, my tip is to break it up into blocks and submit to about 30 a day,or whatever youre comfortable with, using firefox and informenter.

This is my list of directories:

Have a look at the list at http://info.vilesilencer.com as well. That guy keeps his list up-to-date and only lists SEO friendly directories. Have fun submitting.

I takes time to submit to worthwhile directories. Like they said, break it up and submit to a couple per day, that way you won't go insance
