Should I resubmit?

One month ago, I used the free submit option to submit my site to a non commercial category. My site is a free, content rich informational site.

I understand that these free listings can take a very long time, but I read an seo article that suggested that you should resubmit after 4 weeks if not listed. This goes against my grain somewhat, because I know this would hurt in DMOZ- not sure about Yahoo.

Would this be a good idea in the Yahoo directory?

4 weeks, is that so? In that case I'm long overdue. Thanks for the tip. (Although I don't think Y-dir will EVER list my site.) I submitted somewhere in June and all they gave me was Yahoo Webmail (Oh great ;) ). It's non-com, regional, bilingual, what more could they want (besides style and traffic hehe)?

Here is the article I referred to: http://www.apromotionguide.com/yahoo.html

Read the part about free submission. I take everything I read with a grain of salt, thats why I'm asking my smart fellow SEO Chatters.

I waded through Y's numerous FAQ pages and here's what I found:

http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/dir/suggest/suggest-07.html

In short - Y actually suggests you resubmit every two or three weeks! So let's not waste time chatting here and get to work.

Thank you Wit!

I didn't know that Yahoo actually tells you to submit that often.
