share in Yahoo

In light of recent developments (buying overture) and that the tech market has been boosted by the news from yahoo do you think they will get it right?
Do you think they stand to profit greatly from this?
Do you think they will take much traffic from Google?

Would anyone invest in them based on this?

I think they will profit greatly but a lot depends on how well they improve the search results as far as taking a big share out of the market. And i think short to medium term they could be a sound investment.

Yahoo! is undoubtedly Overture's biggest partner... now the profit that Yahoo! makes (very significant... the only reason Y! has been profitable lately imo) and the profit Overture makes off of their partnership will be merged. reconciliation will be cheaper for both (increasing profits), and Y! can push into Overture's foreign market grasp.

i think the price is a little high.... but hey Overture has earned it and so have the stockholders.
