Arrow "SEO Friendly" Directories
Do you consider directories that use scripts routing links through 302 redirects to be "SEO friendly" directories?

I see the label "SEO friendly" applied to numerous directories both here and at DP and many of them use redirected links. To me, a truly SEO friendly directory:
  • has the directory on the domain root
  • does not disallow directory pages with robots.txt or a meta robots directive
  • uses plain HTML < a href > links - no script redirects, javascript, rel="nofollow" or other schemas
  • does not bury listings 40 pages deep for a single category
Am I out in left field here? Thoughts?

Forgot, SEO friendly should include meaningful anchor text. Links with URLs as anchor text may be search engine friendly, but they are not quite SEO friendly IMO.

I don't know those that force you to use the site URL or site name actually help your linking look more natural .
