Does anyone have a good list of paid directories to share?

I would be interested in seeing a list of the "best" paid directories... best for SEO that is.

I am not saying paying for a listing is dumb. I am saying that paying for a listing is stupid, asisnine, and without merit. What will you gain from it? If you must submit to directories, submit to the free ones: http://info.vilesilencer.com/main.php?rock=add_url.php.

If you feel better spending money, send me a check for half of the amount. That way you are happy getting a deal and I am happy getting free money.

I have had good results submitting to paid Directories, most of free ones are new and hardly have any pages indexed, they will eventually get indexed and provide you with a BL but you will need to patient for that. But high PR (above PR 5) will really help in getting your site indexed fast.

If you look at the list here --
http://www.directorycritic.com/paid-directory-list.html
there are very few free directories above PR 5.

Yes there are very few directories with a HOME page of PR5 of better but the reality is there are even fewer that will be able to give you a listing on a PR5 or better page from within that site.

Home page PR is a very deceptive practice many use to rank the value of a directory... look at the internal pages and see if they have any PR of value to find out the true value.

SEO_AM agrees: The only PR that matters in the directory is the PR of the page in which you are listed. But also,
PR as a metric is almost worthless as are directory links.

I wouldn't say they are worthless and I have had good results with using free directories in terms of helping my search engine placement.

I use to like "Uncover the Net" but it got a major hit in last PR update.

I like these --

WOW Directory

MingleOn Directory

Skaffe Directory

Haabaa Directory

All are PR6

Thanks.
