Overtures Monthly Spend

I started to look into Overture again but then found out that if I sign up on their UK site (which I would have to do), their minimum monthly spend is £20 ($30 with a £60 Deposit ($110) while if you sign up in US its $20 a month with a $50 deposit.

I don't understand why it is so much more for exactly the same thing. At least with Google I could sign up in dollars and target Europe.

I would probably spend $38 a month at some point but it seems a bit steep just to try it out.

I don't know why the mimimum spend in the US is less, but to be honest £20 is not a lot of money to pay out for PPC every month.

$20/month is nothing. If you have more than 10 keywords, you'll spend that in a few days.

Remember, if your ads are profitable in your ads, then overture is not an expense, its an investment. You'll feel much better if you think of it that way. I cancel overture ads unless they convert 2.5% or lower the bid to the minimum if it converts at all.

High quality traffic? Yes...
But not high quantity though.

We can easily spend $100 every 4 days. I've been recently tracking the ROI on it though, and it didn't look for us in our market.

Just be sure that you track your ROI. That's the bottom line. If you end up spending $1000/day, it might seem like a lot, but if you make $5000/day because of it, then that's great.

Exactly its all about ROI. Doesn't make sense to throw good money after bad though. If overture isn't giving you the results you want for the money, try adwords or searchenginefeed.com.
