Newbie Directory question
It says to rank higher in google register with a half dozen general directories. What would be an example of a general
directory and a "second-tier general directory? Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

look at the directory's pagerank . Dmoz has pr8. A second-tier general directory would have a lower pagerank and it will have many irrelevant links.

Getting links from lots of directories doesn't mean that you can get higher rankings. To get better rankings you need to get links from related site with the right use of targeted keywords as anchor text.
